Hello all! Some of you might have been following the progress of us creating this range over on the medieval page, but just to fill in everyone who has not. My company "Temple of the West" has been working with the great Daniel Mersey for the last year to create a range of Arthurian knights and characters that closely follow the lore. Great attention has been paid to the accuracy of the heraldry and each knight's shield has been sculpted accordingly by the talented Stavros Zouliatis. we've also added in lots of characters and creatures from the lore to really help drive your gaming!
We have great plans for this range, and this is just the beginning. Dan and I are very grateful for this community and look forward to your support!

Ah, but how much ham, jam, and/or spam do they eat?
-
Shiny stuff!!! ;D

Lovely stuff, the knights remind me of the old Britains figures I had as a kid, very nice.
Quick question, why doesn't Excalibur have a pommel?

These are interesting. Looking on with interest.

Thanks so much! That was absolutely the art direction we went with these. Excalibur does indeed have a pommel. In the photos above it seems to always be at a perfect angle which makes it look like it doesn't. I will say that it doesn't have a super wide pommel as we copied a picture of Excalibur from a manuscript made in the 1500's.

Excellent! Dan and I appreciate the support! We have grand plans for this range after this Kickstarter is finished. Starting with Mounted versions of each knight!!

In your own adventures with them, as much as you'd like them to!!

Thanks for the reply re the pommel on Excalibur, I see what you mean, if I zoom in I can just about make it out but at a quick glance I took it for a finger!

Thanks! It's a very special range for me. We are about to start working on the mounted versions of each knight as well as adding on more of the named knights and more CREATURES..... possibly of the sharp toothed and winged variety :D ....

KING ARTHUR :
When he drew the Sword from the Stone, Arthur became Boy King. Bringing peace to the land, he was gifted the magical sword Excalibur by the Lady in the Lake. In his early quests, he slew monsters and defeated rebel knights; in later years his knights did the same. Mortally wounded by Mordred at Camlann, he lived on in Avalon.

I know everyone is always curious how KotRT miniatures will scale... click the image for a clearer view, I have it sized for Kickstarter and this page doesn't like it much.

We are over 300% funded in the first 4 days and THRILLED with those results. We have just revealed a new add-on for the campaign...
As this is a campaign for miniatures designed by one of the masters of rulesets, Daniel Mersey, we wanted to create a "tool box" for playing his most popular games. As a note, the art work has NOT BEEN STARTED yet for the tokens and might still be tweaked on the measurement gauge. The tokens are going to receive amazing illustrations representing the action by Steve Beckett. We are excited to have him on board to complete these illustrations as he has done similar for other games and they look masterful.
This set of measurement gauge and tokens is a combo for playing Lion Rampant/Dragon Rampant and Song of Arthur and Merlin. The measuring gauge features all 3 lengths required to play SAM as well as 1, 3, 4, and 7 inch measurements on 3 sides. The tokens are double sided and feature the most useful tokens that you'll need throughout each of the games.
These will be made of MDF for durability, but they will be printed in full color on both sides by the masters over at Sarissa Precision. We wanted these to be made of high-quality materials so they could last a lifetime, since we can all agree that these rulesets have lasted the test of time as some amazing ways to push toy soldiers around a table.
This add-on will be available for $12. Again, the artwork has not been started for the tokens yet.

Hey guys, for our latest Kickstarter update we posted up a Battle Report on a lovely game of Lion Rampant where Arthur battled Sir Mordred for control of the Realm...
We have 2 days left to back! Give it a look if you haven't already.
