Hi all,
I've recently (re)stumbled across the fantastic Trek inspired STLs by RavenX studios, and as he's finally gotten to doing Cardassians and Jem'hadar I feel like a skirmish game is in order.
Ideally I'm looking for something that will handle up to 4 players (possibly as 2 teams), and ideally allow for some kind of actions as well (searching, repairing etc) - Pulp Alley keeps coming up but I am short of time to build profiles for all the races etc.
Any suggestions/nudges in the right direction welcome!
Cheers
Andy

Galactic Heroes part of the Fist Full of Lead stable of rules.
They are more Cinema (or TV) than 'Historical'.
They allow for, nay work best with, multi-player.
They are aimed at small (away ?) teams.
They are easy to pick up.
They are easy to add your own house rules to (e.g. 1st Joker = worm hole
becomes stable, 2nd Joker = unstable)
But most of all...
They are FUN.

Take a look at Star Trek Adventures Red Alert (https://www.modiphius.net/products/star-trek-adventures-red-alert-rules-pdf)
Although You'll need the core book of their RPG as well (also the tile sets, but I think You can make Your own terrain.)

Galactic Heroes part of the Fist Full of Lead stable of rules.
Another vote for Galactic Heroes.
Although I have heard the forthcoming 'Xenos Rampant' will also cover Trek inspired battles.
Intrigued by the Star Trek stls though.

I've not played Galactic Heroes, (Hope to sometime) but I have the first edition and in the Codex Galactica (which I think was folded into the new edition) profiles are provided for Federation, Klingon and Borg.
Would be a small matter to tweak them for Cardassians and Jem Hadar and there's a good chance you'll find other profiles in there already that might suitably cover them.

I am sure that Modiphius has released the Star Trek Adventures miniatures range as 3D prints now too.

That's good news. I heard a rumor they might, but didn't know if they ever would.
I have all of their TNG sets, bar the Borg, which I'd really like to add to the collection, so I'll be all over them for sure.
As for Xenos Rampant; my copy should be in the mail about now, since I pre-ordered it, and I read of others who have already received theirs.
And with both of the above, I'll finally be able to play out an away mission or two... 8)

We mainly use the superb "Void Pirates" for Star Trek skirmishes (TOS to my preference) but have also had some really fun games with Casey Garske's "Space Weirdos"

Either set works well multiplayer, Void Pirates is the more traditional feeling game, Weirdos is just crazy fun.

Here's my Galactic Heroes take on the original crew. http://nozzawargaming.blogspot.com/2018/11/the-crew-of-uss-enterprise-ncc-1701-for.html (http://nozzawargaming.blogspot.com/2018/11/the-crew-of-uss-enterprise-ncc-1701-for.html)

I don't its available now?, but Away Team by astro-miniatures is very close to how I imagine the real thing to play out.

Another vote for Galactic Heroes. FFoL (which it is the sci-fi form of) is one of the best skirmish rulesets out there.
Additionally, it does in fact have rules for Star Trek away teams (including Kirk/Spock/Bones/etc).

Many thanks folks - think I'll pick up Galactic Heroes when I get paid!

One more vote for Galactic Heroes.
It really is a great set of rules. and the Starfighter! rules, based on the same mechanics, works for Trek Ships as well.
I haven't played the ship battles (yet), but I did a few games of Galactic Heroes Trek.
One can be seen here:

It is.more zrmy.scale, but I think Beyond the Gates of Antares is great for Star Trek.

Xenos Rampant works well. They even have sample not-Star Trek detachment lists.
