A friend of mine is looking for 20mm cavalry suitable for Japan, and also Chinese Warlords, in the 1920's and 1930's perod. It's proving very awkward to find suitable figures in this scale. Would any of the hive mind have any suggestions on where he could look?

These are STL files and listed as 28mm. I know nothing about 3d printing but my understanding was that you can scale them to suit. The designer also has Chinese Warlord infantry and Motorbike teams.

Hi!
As someone mentioned in another thread, 1/72 offerings, eg HaT Industries as shown in http://figsy.blogspot.com/2018/10/chinese-warlord-cz1_27.html?m=1
Hope that helps.

Stonewall Miniatures have some in their Combat Miniatures section - “Japanese cavalry and infantry in Winter dress”. 14 packs, but only a few images. Look nice though.
Cheers,
Geoff

Thanks for the help folks. I will pass these on.

Tumbling Dice do lots of cavalry in their 1/76 Range , the Germans might be more useful for the Chinese.

Another vote for Hat British Cavalry. They are perfect for Chinese Warlords. Very popular choice.

Jacklex Miniatures has a Russo-Japanese war line that has three Japanese cavalry figures

Some of the Russian cavalry may also be suitable for Chinese warlords of the period

Irregular Miniatures has a WW1 range in 20mm, some of which are useable for this period. Look at the Russians and British.
