Title: 7TV Rules System, help...

Hi all!
I've downloaded the 2nd ed beta version for free and I like the system a lot. I tried to find some starting material but many is OOS. I saw lot of supplements, programming guides,  1st ed. books, VHS format boxes, big boxes, cards, profile cards, gadget cards, lot of material I cannot figure out. Can someone explain me what would I need to play some 7tv games? 1st ed or 2nd ed is the same

2nd edition is the one to go for, Crooked dice are releasing 8tv next year that should incorporate all the extra rules in the apocalypse/ pulp/ fantasy sets and will be replacing 2nd edition.

So I should not invest too much in 2nd ed.
Anyway I downloaded full rules and cards too. Do I have all the needed stuff to play (miniatures apart) or I need also programme guides or other packages?

You have everything you need to play, the programme guides are expansions with new cards
