Title: First two units of Flodden 1513 Scots
Post by: Ockius on November 27, 2022, 01:38:17 PM
I’ve already got a large Henrician English army, and my friends have French and Imperials, so I decided to do something different with a few Scots.

These are a mix of Alternative Armies, Donnington, and Minifigs.

If I have the patience then there are a couple of hundred more to go!

Lovely looking units, Ockius 👍.

Nice mixture of manufacturers.  Are the irregular types there Campbells?  The flag looks similar to their gyronny coat of arms.

Thanks both.

FoGH: yes, it was a Campbell Earl of Argyll who led a highlander contingent on one flank at Flodden and died in the battle. I chose it as it’s simple and the colours are vivid, plus it complements the saffron robe most highlanders wore back then.

Very nice Ockius.  I'm on the same trail.
