Hi guys,
Over the last few month I have worked on a new project for my 28mm Napoleonic Range: The Tyrolean Rebellion of 1809.
For me, as I am living in Bavaria, it was a very dear project of mine for quite some time, and now I finally managed to realise it!
Hereīs the link to Kickstarter:

I hope you guys like the figures! Of course they are again in white metal, as well as STL files for 3D printing.
Here are some pictures I took of them :)

Superb work all round :-*
-
dare I say...You've reached new peaks! :D
-
Great models and painting! Tyroleans were always famous of being great shooters.
-
Stunning photos
-
I'm in, the Tyroleans are revolting!
-
Exquisite work!
-
Gorgeous! Very impressive campaign. Wishing you great success.
-
Fantastic figures.
Anyone got any reading suggestions for the conflict?
-
Wow, just wow! :-* :-* I wish that my grandpa was still alive so that I could send him the picture of the Alpine herder and his cows. I don't think that he had a dog though. Superb painting.
-
Thank you so much guys, I am very glad that you like the figures! :)

Haha that was a good one! :D

Thanks a lot for your support! :)
Fantastic figures.
Anyone got any reading suggestions for the conflict?
Thanks a lot!
Yes, I can not recommend "With Eagles to Glory" by John H. Gill enough, fantastic book!
I have also some books in german and did not find a translation so far... There is one from Hans Magenschab called "Andreas Hofer", thatīs fantastic.
Thank you very much for your kind words guys, it really means a lot! :)

In addition to With Eagles to Glory, I've got:
Loyal Rebels : Andreas Hofer and the Tyrolean Uprising of 1809, F. Gunther Eyck
For Tyrolean/Bavarian biuldings, there are a number of nice ones in this STL set:

Some of the finest painting+photo combination I've seen on here in quite a while. Damn! That staging!
-
Lucas, any chance you might add some dismounted cavalry troopers? Even an assortment pack would be great.
Us Silver Bayonet players are usually left to our own to cut and splice torsos to make dismounted figures for the skirmishing forces.
-
Beautiful work on your collection. Very well done and best wishes.

Colour me officially tempted :D :D :D
A newbie question : when buying metal miniatures (as opposed to STL files), I take it the best way to do it is to select the 'rebellion of 1809' option and then pledge the amount of money corresponding to the selection of packs I want to order ?

Again thank you very much guys! Really glad that you like the photos, itīs going great so far! :)
Lots of Stretch Goals unlocked, including Bavarian cavalry and Landwehr!

Yes, they are great! I used two of them in my pictures :)

Hey thanks a lot for your suggestion! Never thought of it that way, but itīs a very good idea... Iīll put it on my list, dismounted Dragoons would be great :D

Not quite. You pick the "Rebellion of 1809" Pledge and than add the different sets in metal to your pledge. When you pick the pledge and then proceed, you will see all the different addons available.
You can pick as many as you want, and also change your pledge later when new stuff is unlocked.
I hope that helps! So itīs just like a "online-shop", where you can add the single sets and not just the amount of money :)
All the best

Many thanks for all the book suggestions,I've ordered some and am still looking for others.
The Kickstarter is growing at amazing speed and my initial pledge has now more than doubled with all the fabulous stretch goals being added, with more to come.
Absolutely brilliant stuff,Lucas.
Thank you,
Andy

I thought those looked familiar.

Sweet, thank you very much!
If you get to the Austrian Cuirassiers, Silver Bayonet uses both dismounted Light and Heavy Cavalry each with sword and pistol (and breastplate for the Heavy).
Whee,

Fantastic!! :o

Absolutely stunning!
I don't really do any gaming in this period. So I don't really know why. But I suddenly feel a very strong need to have those Tyroleans.

I share that :D

Ooh, ooh, here's another thought Lucas:
Since the Landsturm come with separate melee weapons [yay!], how about adding some packs of muskets and cartridge pouches along with the packs of other extra weapons?
That would greatly increase the pose variety of the schützen.
Cheers,
Cat

Well I think they can be used in some other periods as well! :D When I look at modern traditional clothing in the Tyrol, not that far off... :D

Hmm thatīs a good idea!
I never thought about that, but that would be quite clever! I have to think about it :D Maybe no cartridge pouches, that would be a bit too complicated to apply, most of them have bags or something like this anyway...
Iīll put it on the list, I think we will need some extra Stretch Goals anyway :D

Two ideas also from me:
1.) How about some double-barreled shotguns for the Lansturm? Beats pitchfork for sure and Tyrol is the home of the classical Central European hunting culture after all.
2.) Some more civilians :)

Absolutely GORGEOUS! Fantastic miniatures and I especially love the civilians and animals! Definitely a must have!
-
Seriously making me regret I bought a ton of Austrians last year... lovely stuff.

Stunning.

Awesome job! A feast for the eyes! Congrats!
Wonderfully painted figures and a rare period, thanks for sharing!

That is some of the greatest painting I've seen in a long time. Excellent work!

I agree, just wonderful.

What an interesting project. I do hope it's a success - it deserves to be. It must be nearly 60 years ago when I saw the Panorama on the Berg Isel on a family holiday to Innsbruck.

This. Lovely stuff.

There is a famous painting of Bavarian troops storming into (I think) Innsbruck with their CO being carried aloft in a chair by a party of dragoons. Can anyone give me an on-line link?

Superb. Just superb! The cattle are some of the best painted animals Ive ever seen.
