Title: Is it okay to ask how much miniatures may be worth in order to sell?
Post by: Schogun on December 16, 2022, 10:33:44 PM
I have some figs I'd like to sell but no idea about how to price them. Can I be more specific here?

Admin -- sorry if this post breaks forum rules. If so, delete or tell me how to ask the question properly.

Thanks

Either a post in the specific board that relates to the figure (ACW in The Age of the Big Battalions for example) or the general discussion board will be fine. When you've got a price you're happy with then post the sale here  :)

I think it's fine to ask, we all need help with valuations sometimes.

You can also search for completed auctions on ebay to see what people actually paid for your miniatures there.  Ebay can take a bit more work and you pay fees.  Boards like LAF tend to pay less but there are no fees and people here already know what your selling - plus no taxes or end of year tax forms.

You could also check the LAF wanted posts you may get lucky and only takes a min to check.

Also helps to highlight if postage costs included or not and which country your in as postage may end up being more than the figures would be when overseas (sadly).
