Title: Question(s) On using Canvas Eagles Rules
Post by: Dubar on January 04, 2023, 01:21:10 PM
I played a few solo games recently and during one I had to draw 3 Red Damage Markers on one attack.  2 of them resulted in Rudder Jammed, but 1 was jammed left, the other jammed right.  Never thought to keep note of which one was flipped over 1st, so which would take effect and which would be ignored?

Also, has anyone found that fuel allocation is quite limited?  I've done away with it because more times than not I ran out of fuel maneuvering into position, before any shooting took place.  Also removed the Red Fuel Tank Hit Markers from play.

I almost did away with the altitude rules too, but need them when a plane goes into a spin.  I find that once I start combat I hardly ever change the altitude.

I'm sure I have more questions coming.

Altitude is very important if you have a plane with great climb, like the Fokker Triplane, and the whole 3D thing lets you evade enemy much more effectively than stayin at one height. A steep dive can often get you out of trouble, but then you need to climb back again

Excellent point!!!  There's things like this that in playing solo get lost very easily, especially when your only goal in mind is go for the kill.
