Title: Help to id a couple of fantasy miniatures please!
Post by: The Dozing Dragon on January 07, 2023, 01:44:00 PM
No idea on these at all... came with a bunch of early 80's pieces. A wizard type and a monk. No markings on the bases unfortunately  :(

Sorry can't help, but way back in the early 80s there were loads of small garage business that only sold locally, by mail and at conventions.  They rarely had many photos or drawings in the ads that they did put out.  The sculpting quality looks about right but I could not hazard a guess as to who could have made them or even in what country(s) they were sold.

they look vaguely familiar but not sure where from.
might they have been part of a Robin Hood range?
I don't think they are from the Calder Craft one, but there were a few about at that time.

They almost look more like Saxon chess pieces than they do 80's wargame figures.
