The topic has been chosen by poll, and the subject is 'Place of Worship'.
I will launch this by the coming weekend, with the rules in place.
The timeline should be:
Launch: next week
Registration of interest: deadline of one week, but I will probably allow an extra week in case anyone misses it.
Start: at the end of the one week registration
Duration: I really have to check how long we used to run it for! Eight weeks, I believe.
This means that we should end around 2nd April.

I've avoided the comp for the last couple of years . Simply because I knew I'd not have time to finish a piece.Which kind of made joining in seem disingenuous.
I'm not sure I'd have enough time this year. However if the numbers are low . I'd be happy to join in as it's a topic that I could find a use for .

No one is penalised for not finishing, join in the fun: worst case, you'll have another unfinished project. I have a very large collection of those. :D
Judging by the way things are going at work, and the fact that I might, like last year, make a rather complex and large build, I am 95 % certain I will not finish it. Then again I did finish painting 20 models so far this year, something I never expected to manage, so...

I will join but I will be travelling for 4 of the 8 weeks, so my project will need to be more modest than previous years.

Unlike everyone else I have leave scheduled already for the first week. Had to burn it before the new fiscal year. So I will have a beginning, maybe notsomuch an end.
