and with early bird booking 42,50 Euros.

A bottle of beer cost 1,- Euro that are 7,5 Denmark Kroner for our Danish

game from the forum:
http://forum.backofbeyond.de/viewtopic.php?t=1202

If you have a question send me a PM or send a mail to:

Is it possible to just drop by for a day? I don't know if I'll be able to make it, but I'm sure I can't come over for the whole weekend (I'm on vacation the coming 3 weeks and can't take a day off work directly after that).
It'll be quite a drive, but it looks like it's worth it :)

Failure to produce photo reports from your games will result in grave recriminations on the tabletop.

Grimm, that is an awesome robot.  :o

Grimm,

That robot is a work of absolute genius. How could you complete something like that under the radar without showing it off during construction?

Well done!

Hello,

just came home from the convention. Loved it. Some of us  arrived  at friday we went out for dinner ,( greek food ) than beer and conversations ( hobby talk ).

Saturday was all day gaming from 09.30 am until 4 am on sunday ( I managed to make it til 2 am ). Very nice games there. I liked the wargame from the Hamburg  Wargame club. It was a 100 years war adventure game on a giant table. Grimms 45. Adventure table was great. Rich will love it. I presented the Triumph and Tragedy ww1 table. There was also Hammering Iron from Peter Pig, the new game Hell Dorado, Warmachine, Flames of War, Operation Overlord, Wild West, Space Hulk in 3D with mummies, Epic, AT 43 and other stuff.

Sorry guys I had no time to shoot some photos, but Iam sure you will see some soon.

The con is really worth a visit. Too bad that we had no visitors from neighbour countries. You should come next year.

Cheers
Björn

I've been at the Trave Con as well and I enjoyed it very much.
I had a lot of fun with all the folks there. So my first forum post is just another photo contribution:

I think we need a lead adventurers convention / games weekend in a location to suit both British and German chapters... (With apologies to those in the New World and colonies   )

As a venue I propose a storm-tossed old WW1 concrete sea fort in the middle of the North Sea somewhere between the Essex Marshes and The Heligoland Bight. The British Adventurers to arrive by ramshackle seaplane, the German Adventurers by U-boat.

U.S. Adventurers will arrive late by Tramp Steamer.

Swedes by dragon ship, obviously.

So yes, rowing would be best

Sorry, I forgot sarcasm doesn't carry over the net :)

I'd better start working up some upper body strength, then. But I suppose it could be worse: I expect the Spanish will have to de-forest their entire peninsula in the building of a giant armada to transport them there. They will then run into a spot of trouble in the Channel and have to take the long way round back home

And of course, Frenches will come on horseback, "à la hussarde", led by Brigadier Gerard

But what about the Poles ? and the Belgians ?

Matt

The Poles will arrive in some grandiose manner that will outshine all the rest, but it won't matter because they'll be inexplicably left unmentioned in the convention report, and everyone will forget they were even there in the first place.

(I hope that doesn't sound anti-Polish, it was meant to sound pro-Polish)
