With the Commandos nearly done, it's time to look at some opposition
My first thought was Fallschirmjäger but having looked around a bit I wanted something a bit different, so went with the Gebirgsjäger
-
Very nice work
-
Very nice. Who is the manufacturer? I have some old Britannia and IT figures but could do with some more.

It figures?
These are a kit bash of SHQ bodies and Kelly Heroes heads and packs, I'm planning more as well as some standard ones. ELHIEM also make some nice ones

IT Figures were an independent company back in the '90s. They are now sold by Frontline Wargaming. They cost about 60p per figure and the price probably reflects the quality.

Nice conversion, love Gebirgjagers, I made my own Gebirgjagers as well, about a platoon + used various plastics, with the odd metal and green stuff.

They look fantastic

I've found plenty of figures in the headover anorak but would like to mix in a few with the windproof jacket, but that's proving a bit tricky, might see if I can proxy with some winter figures
-
Failing that I might see if I can convert some Heer in smocks to add a bit of variety

Head swap a field cap, then put a hood on some smocked SS.
-
And add a mountain ruck
Just need to find the right donors, Adlers were my first though, but they are in the two-piece camo suits
-
A few more
Mix of kelly heroes (Grubby Tanks) and an SHQ officer with a head swap to match then better
-
They look great.
-
Thanks, I'm enjoying painting them
Few more
-
Lovely, keep it up.
-
Thanks, I've half a dozen figures left and a Elhiem order on its way, then I'll look at support options, like my commandos I plan to have enough for various rule sets
-
First section done but will probably swap one out for one with a panzerfaust at some point
-
First 2 squads done, third is on the table ready to start This week
-
They look nice!
I was wondering how the Kelly Heroes (Grubby Tanks) mix with others manufacturers.
Cheers,
Seb

The SHQ's have head swaps to help them blend in
Kelly Heroes are a bit of a mixed bag, some fit in well others not so much
-
Your first 2 gruppen look good. Nicely done!
