I have commenced my medieval town buildings for my fortified city build this year. A mix of plastic, Resin and 3D prints. I have around 20 buildings to do.
I have commenced by improving some plastic buildings from Tabletop Workshop for my medieval building collection in preparation for our Wargame Holiday weekend for our fully booked Battle of Baugé weekend.
I added some construction plaster then stippled it with a old toothbrush. Started off masking the collombage, after the first two then just wiped the collombage with a wet Q tip. 5 new additions should be completed by the weekend.

Nice work Matt. Bauge is one of the most interesting battles of the "Lancastrian War". In fact the the 1430's is one of the most interesting time periods of the HYW.
I wish I could be there if jonlyto send Clarence a charging to his death :D

No offence, but i think you've mucked up with the plastering, it looks far too rough, almost like the icing of a cake, and is also covering the wooden framing. Its not a terrible idea for some visual texture but you really need to tone it down imo.

The blue is mask it, I painted it on and it will peel off. I wanted to fill in between the colombage as per the construction method, like it should be. I also wanted to achieve a rough texture on the out buildings I have sanded out the peaks before painting.
