Title: Adjusting an iPhone photo to 1,000 x 1,000 pixels?
Post by: FifteensAway on March 25, 2023, 03:51:06 AM
First, how do I tell how many pixels a photo I've taken is?  Then, if it isn't 1,000 x 1,000, how do I adjust it to that size?

I have an iPhone 13, 15.0 Software Version.

Thank you.

Do you want to do it with the iPhone or on a computer?

More likely on my MacBook Pro - easy to transfer to the computer and download.

To identify pixels on an iphone just select picture from photos app and then select the info(i in circle) button at the bottom of the picture.

On my iPhone11, I just do a flick up on a photo and an info box appears. I also got a metadata app which gives more info than you could ever want….

I'm not very familiar with the Apple ecosystem, but I'm sure that, as with Windows, there are plenty of free image editing apps available that you can use to resize the photos from your iPhone. There are online web-based solutions too, like Photopea (https://www.photopea.com/ (https://www.photopea.com/)) though I don't use them myself as I have GIMP, Krita, Affinity Photo and Photoshop on my desktop computer.
