Title: Painting Denison
Post by: Dags on March 25, 2023, 09:50:00 AM
For some strange reason, can't think why, several peeps have asked me how I recently painted Denison smocks. So here we are, a quick guide:

1.   Base coat of Vallejo Model Color German Camo Orange Ochre
2.   A wash of thinned Vallejo MC Smoke
3.   Add a little Vallejo Panzer Aces Highlight British Tank Crew to the base colour for the first highlight.
4.   Repeat adding a little more
5.   Repeat adding a little more
6.   Thin Vallejo Model Color Refractive Green to ‘almost' a wash for the Green patches
7.   Thin Vallejo Model Color Burnt Umber to ‘almost' a wash for the Brown patches

Thanks for that, bookmarked for when there are some British Paras to paint (no names, no pack drill)...

Pretty effective, I like your beret colour, I don’t know how many times I’ve seen people paint them red for some weird reason.
