I got hold of a few Bloody miniatures and thought of doing some kind of single based skirmish games with them.
I really like the size of Donny Brook... ;)
So here are the first Bloody-Minis.
I should do a little bit more highlighting and details on them... so these are more WIPs.

There are a few Rank&File Miniatures from Bicorne hidden in the back... they will provide the back bone of the big troops: 8 Muskets and 8 Spears etc.
The minis fit really well togehther with the Bloodys.

But my collection of big-ECW-minis will center around the cool Bloody-minis.
I think they are ideal for my kind of storytelling games I prefer...

I will keep you updated on the progress... :D

Quite the collection! Nice 👌

Nice figures chap.

'Hot Trod and Red Hand' are great skirmish/small action rules for these figures.

Try fistful of lead by Wiley games. Great for skirmish and convention. Ask James(Oshiro), Nick (Malamute) and Captain Blood himself…

Splendid Don! :-*

So, after a short break over the summer I painted a few new minis for my Bloody ECW skirmish :)
Army pic at the moment..

Since Bloody-Miniatures released a few Horsemen, I had to add a few to my small collection. Even thou I normaly avoid painting horses.... ;)

I even did a few conversions and mainly headswapps.
And to get a cannon crew.

I started a small scottish warband. But these are pretty WIP.
Tartans must be finished...
Highlanders in the Background are from Black Scorpion. Nice models... a little bit slim in comparison, but at a good hight.

Have you actually gamed with them yet? If so what rules have you used? I've had a similar idea but haven't a clue about suitable rules. I've heard of an old set called "Once Upon a time in the West Country" but not sure if they are still available, plus I think they are aimed at only about 10 figures per side.

Very nice conversions there Don :-*
That is quite a collection 8)

By the way just found "Once Upon a time in the West Country". Still available after al these years from Caliver Books. Still no real idea of the size of the game they are aimed at. Anyone have any clues?

I’ve never read them, but everyone I’ve heard who has played them speaks very highly of them. I believe they are very small scale skirmish rules, with just a handful of figures per side.
