Title: Owl Pendant

I was sketching out concepts for faction symbols for a setting that I've been working on, one reminded me of an owl which led to a diversion into non miniature endeavors.

Worked more into the owl side of things, when youtube brought up a thing on carving pendants. I adjusted the owl for a pendant and tried to carve it...the carving didn't work so I shifted to using green stuff to sculpt it. Added a loop that was in my bits of things stored for whenever and grabbed some leather cord that I had leftover there.

Then a bit of paint and a layer to seal it left me with something interesting...

The last is next to the first sketch of it as an owl...

Now you need to sculpt a pussycat for a lady friend (if you have one) and you can be all set to go to town:  The Owl and The Pussycat

A cat would be interesting, but difficult for the shape there, it would require more work for ears at the least with it.
