Does anybody know of some good big game hunting rules.
-
There's the Saurian Safari set; although originally intended for dinosaurs there was one (Mammalian mayhem?) that did ice age beasts and some big game.
Think there was a Howard Whitehouse set too, but I can't find it on the Wargames Vault page

Tusk?

Mammalian mayhem are excellent. Used them a number of times.
Gives you are great, fun game.

Do you know were I could get a pdf of Saurian Safari and Mammalian Mayhem (preferably for free)
-
Now maybe I dreamt this, but doesn't the North Star edition of Chris Peers' Death in the Dark Continent include a set of big game hunting rules within its pages?
No idea how they play, but I'm fairly sure I'm not making this up.

Yes. this is included in the rulebook.

The amount of miniatures needed for Death In The Dark Continent is to many, I'm looking for something were you only need at the most 10 hunters.
-
Pretty sure it is an entirely separate game, not part of the main game (which is a big battle set). Don't imagine you need tons of figures.
-
There was Howard Whitehouse's The Lion Eats Tonight, which seems to be exactly what you are looking for but sadly, it appears to be long out of print:

Oh, I see, I'll have to look into that.

If I remember rightly the death on dark continent rules was for a hunting party scenario .

Brigade has Mammalian Mayhem for $20.00 for rules or $18.00 pdf.
Best price I could find.

That's a bit steep, wot. I found the Saurian Safari rules on Scribd for free so I'm going to give those a go.
