Title: [Kickstarter] Cloth Goblins! - On Etsy for EU and Norway until Sunday
Post by: Andrew Rae on May 21, 2023, 02:45:44 PM
Hi everyone!

I've very happy to say that my Cloth Goblins Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/statuesque/cloth-goblins) has just launched. I had a lot of fun sculpting these wee guys so I hope you'll take a look! They're available as lead-free metal castings (printed, moulded and cast by my fair hand) and also as STLs.

It looks like we're on the way to the funding target and I'm really looking forward to sending cloth goblins off around the world. :)

Cheers folks!

I've spent the past couple of days taking photos of the cloth goblins I've painted.

I'd originally intended just to do pretty standard photos, but then got carried away playing with the goblins and some of the Left at the Bottom of the Garden toys. I hope you like them!

Now these are neat.  I don't have a use for them but somehow I think I will be placing an order.

Wonderful sculpts .....they remind me of something...

The mice on the mouse organ.... just got evil.

probably because of the shields they remind me slightly of Sumerians.

no idea what I'll use them for but I think I need to pick up a group of cloth Sumerians...

Thanks folks!

The campaign has been going great and we're almost at the finish line - it ends on Sunday night!

I'm still having fun taking lots of photos of the toys. Here are a couple more of my favourites:

High stakes stuff in the Habernagerie, I think you'll agree!

Please do take a look. Thanks!

The Cloth Goblins are available on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/StatuesqueMiniatures) 'Made to Order' for EU and Norway customers - but only until Sunday 11th of June! The expected delivery date is timed to match the Kickstarter fulfilment date of August 2023, though I'd hope to have things going out before that.

After fulfilment of both the Kickstarter rewards and Etsy Made to Order is complete, the Cloth Goblins will return to both the Statuesque shop and Etsy.

Crud. The more I look at these, and the other puppets, the more their whimsy is growing on me.

It's not that I need yet another project, but buying them is starting to make more and more sense...

+++EDIT+++ I just took a long hard look at your outstanding paintjobs and I absolutely love the textures you achieved on them. Did you stiple those, was it paint-flicking, or some other technique? This is not helping me keeping my resolve you know...

It took a while, but eventually my will was eroded away and I've just ordered the entire range(s) through your Etsy store. So that's the toys, the ghosts and the goblins. Quite a few items to paint once they arrive... :)

Oh and the Satir/Faun STL as well; I take it he's part of the 'clothiverse'?

Wow, super creative.  I just love the image of them around the candle.  Nice.
