Title: G.A.S.L.I.G.H.T. Reference Sheets??
Post by: Jonas on November 03, 2009, 09:45:28 PM
Hallo, after playtesting our VSF scenario for Horisont a couple of times, we have come to the conclusion that the rules we were working on is not working very well at all...

So we got hold of a copy of the Gaslight rules and Battles by Gaslight, but I was wondering if there is any Quick Reference Sheets available somewhere to download? I have searched here and the Gaslight yahoo group but I could not find any for Battles by Gaslight.

Thanks.

On the subject of GASLIGHT reference sheets, I'm intending tio do a bit of housekeeping on the sheets we use shortly.

If anyone wants copies of the sheets after i have finished please feel free email me directly (if you don't have my email please PM me with your address).

Currently we have three double-sided A4 sheets written in Word (to enable you to amend the rules and add weapons to suit your own game setting):

Sheets 1 & 2  - standard GASLIGHT and Battles by GASLIGHT rules and tables (with the Battles table for vehicle damage), plus some additional rules for flyers, etc. (which I intend to amend following experience of using the he over-complicated rules for airships that we we lifted from the ACW supplement)

Sheet 3 - Venus supplement, including rules for dinosaurs.

That sounds great and I thank you in advance Bullshott. I don't suppose you will be doing a blank unit sheet I see you chaps using so that we can insert our own stats and pics?

Thanks mate... got the docs and they are positively spiffing!

And for a GASLIGHT novice like myself, the unit cards are absolutely lovely and tremendously enlightening.   :-*

I feel a heckva lot more confident dipping my toe into GASLIGHT now... thanks a bunch!

Click on Bullshot's name next to his post, that'll take you to a page with his details. Near the bottom is a line that says "send member a PM" or something similar. Click that and it will take you into a pm screen. Type what you want and click send :)

You can do it slightly quicker from the PM page itself but the above way doesn't require you to remember the forum name (some of them can be awkward) and can be done straight from this thread.

Thanks Dave, received the files yesterday and finally got to read them tonight.

The characters and units names are a triumph of bad puns and needless to say I have been sniggering all evening  lol

Well done, sir!

(edited for idiotic spelling errors  :-[  )

You can blame Malamute for the character names - they are all his officers
