and by Hockey i mean ICE Hockey! lol
Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes one?
Most of the time I see hockey sticks sold seperately and people talking about converting Deathball, Blood Bowl etc. American football type minis. IMHO they are too chunky/bulky/armoured.
I might have to try my hand at "sculpting" one of my own, if no one has any suggestions...

Well, not perfect, but, Brigade Games does have a "fantasy" Hockey range, including several fantasy races in hockey gear. Apparently the miniatures are nice and the game is a hoot, although the rules writer hasn't finished the final draft yet.

I can never seem to find pics of any of the Brigade Games hockey players although they have them listed on the website. Does anyone know where pics might be available?
Aside from that, I'm interested in finding human hockey players but orcs might work if they arn't too out of scale.

Search for "hockey" on TMP. This topic was discussed last winter, I believe, and there was some word about Eureka doing some as part of the 150 Club.

Yup, I saw that. That was about as far as my "research" got. Thanks anyways

Eureka's site says status is 100+. Also says: "As soon as the total number of figures requested reaches 150 for the 100 Club and 600 for the 300 Club (the number Eureka needs to break even), and at least ten (10) customers have registered interest, each person who has made an order will be contacted by e-mail to confirm the order is still required."
I guess add your name and order! Maybe you'll be the one to get the figs into production.

Phil's Phigs used to make some hockey stuff, but he closed up shop a few years ago. Here's his email: phil.bowen@gmail.com He might have something still around, or know someone that carries his old miniatures. I know he sold his sculpts off to someone else.

Impact miniatures now released hockey-miniatures....

I like this one, but she needs skates.
And some teammates, too, I guess!
