Very nice but you have to tell us where to get all those wonderful bits and models! I don't know them all like Vyper does ;)

Excellent, I really like your painting style. The dead trees and toxic waste are very atmospheric.

Awesome stuff, as could be expected! ;) I really like that little hill with the withered trees, and that scorpion is pretty rad too (pun intended) - could you tell me the manufacturer?

AWESOME! Huge fan of Fallout, so I really love these. Damn, why don't I have the time I want to do things like this.

Scorpion -> Heresy Miniatures (link: http://www.heresyminiatures.com/hm018.htm)

 ;D

He's right, though. Great work there. What to say? The scorpion, the little Enclave machine thingy, the nuclear waste, all wonderful. But I especially like the last piece for some reason. Nothing particularly Fallout-ish about it one might think, and yet it evokes the Capital Wasteland perfectly for me, especially some of the rocky, once-wooded western portions of the map. Well done!

That is really good stuff.  I think I'm with Polynikes on this one, the last piece is my favorite also.

The scorpions are really nice.  I assume they were originally made as fantasy models, but your bases and paintjobs really re-make them as post-apoc mutants.

Ian's (Fenris Games) barrels are really nice and not just radioactive. They have flammable and bio hazard markers cast on them too to name but a few.

Very good quality, well worth the cash

This is the place I was thinking of that Majorsmith's terrain piece brought to mind. The something-or-other Picnic Grounds. Not the most friendly place. Crawling with Deathclaws and those frankly terrifying Albino Rad Scorpion things when I was there just now.

Thanks, I just had a look around and ordered 30 (one variety set, one radioactive set and one biohazard set) along with some street lights. The price on them (3 quid for 10) makes them very attarctive as well 8)

Damn it, this thread got me all stoked for a Fallout table. I am contemplating ordering the Zuzzy 'Ruined Land' mat:

Crap, don't really have the time or money at the moment but FO3 is just so awesome (yes, Pil, you should buy a new PC just to play this game...you'll love it).

Oh great. Here we have a nuclear apocalypse that leaves the US a devastated wasteland, and guess who survives, giant scorpions and LARPer weirdos.

;)

Well, I never finished fallout 1 either so I'm, afraid FO3 would suffer the same fate any computer game does when I play it... it dies a slow death, unfinished :P

@Westfalia: HAHAHA! That would be a terrific NPC in the game...I think I would have sprayed coffee all over my screen.

@Pil: Believe me, Fallout 3 is much more "playable" than FO1 and is much quicker in gameplay, making it hard to stop. But mostly it's very inspiring and gives you hundreds of cool ideas for gaming, scenarios, factions, special rules, etc.

That's some nice stuff Pil!! I have over 80 screenshots (so far) from the game - pics of stuff I thought would make sweet models in 28mm. It's a pain to get good photos when you're being chased by a Protectron or a Super Mutant is shooting RPGs at you.

I've started on a couple items so far... just need to get focused to finish! Someday...

I've been tempted by a Zuzzy mat for a couple of years. Are they any UK stockists?

@DAWGIE: see www.zuzzy.com. Basically, they sell latex game mats and scenery. The cool thing is they have structure on it, so you won't be playing on an ultraflat surface. In addition, they look really nice and fit FO3's look.

So far you can still only  order directly through them. At 42 euro per mat (including shipping), they're not cheap...
