I blame Andym and hus wee cottage.
Got my bucket of bricks and pva out and started.
Ground floor of an inn, with building standards inspector nosing around

Good start! Are you aware of the upcoming Build Something Competition? A stables would go well with that lol
-
Lovely arch, looks to be quite a build, as that's a solid foundation!!
Ah the post foundation building inspection, hope it's close enough to the submitted council development application! ;)

Impressive brickwork. Can't wait to see more.
-
More added, 2 more sections to do, then onto roofing.

Liking that :)
Cheers.
Working in the windows I got from you to make them leaded.
-
Thats the size of a small moon or a small hamlet!
Impressive. Liking all the bricks and windows so far!
-
Looks great. Only a few hundred more hours til it's done!
-
Putting the bits in place and sweating at the thought of all the tiling I'll need to do!
-
Wonderful! Very impressive structure so far. I like your leaded windows.
-
Wow. That is going to really impressive.
-
Bit more done, need to stop putting off the tiling and bite the bullet!
-
WOW off to a great start. I can't wait to see the finished project.

This is looking good. I recently came across your 3 musketeers post and wonder if you did any sort of how too. I'm copying your pavement idea and probably the wallpaper ground, but I'm interested in the 3D backdrop. I was thinking I might just go with a printed backdrop for ease.
Anyway great work on that and this.
Cheers

No how to, but I might in the future.
Nothing complicated, I use foamboard for the walls, balsa for the timber, card for roof tiles etc
Pretty easy to build something quickly

Thanks for the quick response. I bought the Conflix range of buildings for speed, now it's aquestion of turning them into a believable small town setting. Your backdrop worked perfectly for that.
Cheers

The Conflix buildings are ok, but benefit from a repaint.
I based mine on foamed PVC that I textured with a greenstuff world roller.
