Hey Gang, I've been asked to do some work for Conquest Games by the rather pleasant Mike and I'm having a blast. Here is the first finished model plus a w.i.p of the primed models so far. I'll be painting about thirty models for him and they're all pretty cool. I love the old school skellies and the characterful little gobbos. First up is this very "not an ankylosaurus" (although Mike ensures me it is in fact inspired by one hehe) Troglodyte.

And the primed models:

For anyone wondering if these are hand-primed, I lean toward hand-priming these days. I generally save time and energy and also my lungs! Since my spray space is also my workspace.
I hope people enjoy this little project as it progresses.

So I've been working on Mikes bits. I'm not really sure if I'm hitting the style and look he wants but here are some more pics so far. I think some of this may be re-worked once I hear from Mike.

Great stuff! Is that female thing based on the Mara from Alan Garner's The Weirdstone of Brisingamen?

Many thanks for putting these up on Lead Adenture EZPainter - they are looking wonderful so far.
To answer your question Hobgoblin - one of my favourite books as a nipper was The Weidstone of Brisingamen. Some of these miniatures are my interpretation of how I saw the characters in the book - the mara I saw as an interdimensional being; an abomination from beyond the stars.
