I painted up the final squad of five for another Xenos Rampant detachment. These are plastics from the Stargrave Mercenaries box. Not the greatest photos that I have taken of my minis. The blue skin is to match the previous batch.

I do like the grenade launcher arms. Very nice to be holding up the next shell.

The tan and brown metallic uniform was to match a faction of metal miniatures that I had painted up for my post-apocalyptic campaign. Expanding that force of 8 figures into a Xenos Rampant detachment of 20 or so seemed more efficient than starting a new one from scratch.

A troop of five mounted gorillas for both my post-apocalyptic and Xenos Rampant Sci-Fi games. Three of the figs are metal from Battle Valor Games (former Sgt. Major Miniatures), and two are 3-D printed ones from JS Wargamer Printing.

Post by: Pattus Magnus on March 31, 2024, 04:34:26 PM: Due to life stuff, I didn’t paint as much in March, but did manage to complete a few bases of 15mm early medieval cavalry and a character base. Splintered Light figures. They’re decent figures but the dynamic poses make them challenging to fit on a 40mm wide base. I ended up using 40x40 bases to get more room.

Fatigue markers for Saga. Make some use of all those extra heads from plastic kits! Using them for my Thracian army, who were supposed to practice head-hunting according to people who hated them... lol

Definitive stand outs for me are the crazy cat lady (I have her in a blister somewhere, too) and the painter with his lake model. Always wanted to try painting wet sheer clothing, it's such a great effect.

Seeing this thread is really inspiring. Keep it up, mate :)
