In a fit of madness, I decided to re-do my Crossfire Eastern Front with 12mm Victrix instead of my old 1/72 figures. https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/2024/03/victrix-12mm-armor-and-infantry-project.html (https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/2024/03/victrix-12mm-armor-and-infantry-project.html)

Nice work, be curious to watch this grow. If I was starting BG over, I'd consider skipping 15mm and go with their 12mm. They are fleshing out that range nicely (though I see absolutely no one buying/building/painting them on any of the forums/pages, which is unfortunate).
I find it curious that Battlegroup is looking to do a "larger scale" version of WW2 (similar to their Northag line) which - oddly - would be perfectly suited for Victrix minis...a competitor to PSC.

I’m a big fan of 10/12mm for many periods including WWII. I already have so much Pendraken & Pithead metal, with a smattering of Minifigs, Takara and Dragon, that I’ve not gone big for the Victrix range. I have a couple of tanks and a good chunk of their German infantry.
Despite being called 12mm they fit great with existing 10mm - if anything the Victrix figures are a lot more slender than metal 10mm figures.
I think given the pack sizes for Victrix I’d like them to be a bit cheaper per model - as at the minute they are at least the price of metals, without the flexibility of purchasing. And I do get in 10/12mm you often want lots of vehicles, but not always.
On your PzIVs there seems to be a lot of shine under the decals - this tends to be down to tiny trapped air bubbles. Try a layer of gloss varnish on the side of the turret, then add the decal. Let dry and then matt varnish.

Elbows, I think PSC have been trying to have a "higher level" scale of WW2 game for some time. I found BG to be fine scaled up except for the infantry combat....all those single based figures. We reckon that the rules which I think are called "Battlegroup Commander" will basically adopt the NORTHAG style of infantry combat where figures are based as fireteams. Much simpler to play. What I find interesting is their new range of 3D printed models which are a direct competitor to Victrix/Pendraken and can be bought as either 10 or 12mm models.

We always played BG with multi based figures in both 10mm and 15mm.
Not least because that’s what we had to hand. Either from BKC or FoW.
Don’t think it had even occurred to me that it was written as single based.

Hmm, I'll try that with one of them and see how it works. Presuming I can get the current decals off in the first place.

You’ll struggle to remove decals non-destructively - but they will likely come off with a bit of light scraping. Or just paint over them?

A couple companies of Soviet infantry with mgs, mortars and some T-34/76s can be found here https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/2024/04/victrix-12mm-1144-soviet-infantry-based.html (https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/2024/04/victrix-12mm-1144-soviet-infantry-based.html)
