Does anyone know of anyone who manufactures a range of the above? Or anything that might be converted as such?
-
What period? Brigade do some nice diggers etc. and there must be some good proxies amongst the historical ranges from the likes of Essex/Gripping Beast that could stand in.
-
I suspect 25/28mm:
Eureka miniatures some sets of Arab merchants, stalls and customers. A harem set. Some Indian civilians might also be useful.

Irregular miniatures also has some:

Perry miniatures has a pack of muslim civilians that also might be useful (in the crusaders range/muslim civilians):

WestWind in their gothic range has a pack with some diggers.
Brigade games also has some diggers.

You might as well mention Pulp Figures who make these:

The are titled 'Istanbul Constabulary" but they look more like Egyptians to me. Turks did not officially wear fezes post 1920.

Talk to White Knight. He maintains a cross-manufacturer catalogue over at Frothers.

Updated below with a few new pics.

I'm working on painting the Brigade diggers and archeologist. They are quite detailed, but are on the small side compared to WW and other 25/28mm figures. The Diggers appear to be true 25mm figures. I'll soon have them finished along with some other pulp minatures, will do a side by side comparison photo for you.

Thanks chaps - just what I was looking for.
