Predictably excellent painting as usual *yawn* ;)
I am impressed by the quality of the models though. Did you just do the 'usual' prep and clean-up, or was more required?
I must say I'm beginning to be really drawn to the 'dark side' of 15mm gaming. :o

To the Shores of Tripoli*, all right! :) Lovely painting on those. The weathering on the side skirts worked out very nicely.
*: Yes, I know that is actually a Barbary Coast reference, but any other USMC quote/topos seemed woefully inappropriate here.

The models shown were very easy to build and paint, resin body with metal turrets. The next models seem to be a different story, all metal and with some excess flash to be removed...
We'll see...

Give in, come over to the dark side.....

Can't agree more - 15mm wraging has its merits!

Well certainly space here being at a premium, 15mm does make a lot of sense. Returning to gaming after a long break also means I have no 'scale loyalty' either. Certainly my lack of painting skills might be a touch less apparent too. :D

Those are fantastic, and the weathering is really top notch... I'm impressed and jealous... HOWEVER... the bases show them just coming onto the beach, so it's kind of odd that they're so dusty!

Dusty? Its thinned mud and gore! ;)
