Title: Barbarian Overlord
Post by: Overlord on December 08, 2009, 07:41:45 PM
Or rather, Barbarians painted by Overlord.  :D

I finally finished off the mounted General element for my Hordes of the Things (HoTT) army.

Here he is with the rest of the mounted contingent (painted for the last LPL)

I am actually most of the way to enough elements to have 4 HoTT Barbarian Armies.  ::)
They are mainly the old Mark Copplestone sculpts for Grenadier with a few 'updated' from Companion

Very nicely done Paul. And very wuffianly.

Trouble is, I keep expecting to see Regan and Carter roar in from the sidelines, leap out of their Granada Ghia, and nick the rampaging blaggers  ;)

Lovely models, we will have to play HOTT sometime. Unfortunately, I only have 15mms.

You have quite the obsession with Barbarians, don't you?  :)

They look ace though mate.

You;ve been watching Monty Python's Holy Grail again  haven't you!  Sweeney Todd; riding squad.  lol

I've always liked the Copplestone Barbarians.  It's just taking me forever to paint (and convert a few of) them.

Copplestone/Grenadier Shaman

I also have a few other manufacturers to supplement the Copplestones:
