Somewhat crappy pics of my diving suit terminator conversion.

That works really well. I keep meaning to sculpt something like this and this shows I would be silly to do so. Nice colouring too.
-
Cool!
Where's the helmet from? Is it your own design?

I like that conversion very much. Would go well with my beaky marine project. Would be interested to hear how you did it, as well.

Details details! How did you do the helmet. Drill's nice. A screw I take it?
Spill the beans!! :D

Thanks everybody!
I sanded off all the skull/eagle bits with my dremel.
The helmet is a metal ballbearing with the 'windows (eng.?)' sculpted on. The dril comes from an ancient old space-Playmobil powertool! :)
-
Great idea.
I really like the helmet.
-
Thats really good. Thanks for sharing... :D
-
I'm liking this alot, and it could be used for VSF (boiler on the back etc :D )
cheers

Awesome! :)
-
Very atmospheric - a nice bit of lateral thought for the conversion idea, and a suitably grubby paintjob to bring it all together. Result!
-
nice - looks like something from a James Bond movie
-
Brilliant work - very nice conversion and an excellent paint job! :)
-
Beautiful work. The only thing that caught my eye is the helmet turning to the side - on an actual diving suit, the helmet was fixed at the shoulders (which is why they had windows on the sides as well).
-
Agreed, Sir.
I first thought of Nemo's diving suits from 1,000 leagues under the sea.
The pictures aren't too bad either. ;)

Well I immediately thought "Bioshock" before I thought anything else. 8)

Thanks all for the comments!!

Very nice indeed. Who are its opponents going to be? I imagine it fighting Nazi mer-men or something!
-
reminds me of something from 'xcom terror from the deep' really nice figure
-
Especially the drill-type weapon, reminds me of the Thermic Lance.
I still have dreams about those Lobstermen.
-
Fried Lobstermen with butter and a little garlic..mmm :P
hadn't thought about Terror of the Deep for a while, these might just work though.
-
I am playing Bioshock at the moment and decided it might make an interesting skirmish game.
Your conversion is definatly going in the right direction.
Now we just have to build the underwater city Rapture.
p.s. Nice conversion.
-
Cool! I have to admit I have no idea what bioshock is about, apart from a deepsea diver and an underwater city. I never play videogames. But the images I've seen were very inspiring, hence the conversion...
