I did this guy as a colour test for another figure I want to paint green. I am very disappointed with my photography as I spent an age on the green, adding shading and highlights by the bucket load, and it does not show in the picture at all >:( :'(

Looks fine to me Svenn! Although I was a bit confused initially - when I saw the 'Just one more Chinese' thread title I thought it was going to be about how you always order one more dish than you really need when you go to the takeaway, and then sit around later feeing bloated and idly prodding the remains of the noodles in black bean sauce...

Looks good to me.
The Black Art of photography, eh. >:(
As a basic though, having a uniform colour for the background will help, rather than a black "floor" and white backdrop.
I used to always use the blue-white gradient as my old camera couldn't handle a white background. The new camera can handle pure white so you will see more of my photos with an even more simple background than before. :)

Nice work Svennn. Go on, give him a name.

Hey Svenn,
If you are disappointed you can always send him to join his brethren here on Guam. I have a feeling he would soon be in charge of a crew :D :D

I would have suggested "Hoo Flung Dung" but that is probably un-PC and offensive, so I won't ;)

Cross my palm with silver and he is yours :D or I can do another in whatever colour you wish as I have over a dozen of these to do
