There are also two new Proton Rangers on their way with designs for more figures on the sculptors workbench just waiting their turn.
The Mecha-Man was sculpted by Brad Shier and will be £2 with pstage to the UK 50p,Europe 60p and the U.S.A £1.20.P &P for larger orders will be 10% of UK( Minimum £1.50) and 15% the rest of the world( Minimum £2)

These Robo-Masters don't sound very peaceful, not if they go around creating evil hovering machines! :)
I like it. Kinda nasty-looking, but sort of cute, too. That helmet crest puts me in mind of the little Martian chap that used to bother Bugs Bunny from time to time. The whole thing reminds me of something else, though. But I can't think what it is. Oh well.
-
I STILL think it´s the illicit offspring of V.I.N.C.E.N.T. and Maximilian!!!
Great mini, though.

I should have clarified that, the Robo-Masters are the creators of all synthetic intelligent life in the known galaxy. They only ever created robots for good: medical, rescue etc.
HOWEVER! The tyrant Canis came to Mech-World and murdered the Robo-Masters. Harnessing their technology for war!!!!
As regards cartoon, martians, maximillian and V.I.N.C.E.N.T thats made my day, its exactly the feel I was trying to capture.

with more than a hint of original Cylon...

Cylon indeed! Hey Cap'n, are these going to be a "troops choice," ie, will a person need a small team of these?
Cheers,
Navin

Has someone been paying too much attention to my avatar? 8)

Maybe subconsciously, Overlord. My waking mind hadn't noticed your avatar, but no doubt one of the little Numbskulls up in the old noggin somewhere must have spotted it and noted it down.

Hey Gamma, I already beat you to the punch so to speak. I posted your figure in the VSF Adventures forum.

Hey why don't you post that painted picture of Captain Gamma. It make's him or should I say you look really good. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
By the way how many parts make up the Mecha-Man ? One..Two..Three... More.

Great stuff. Craig. I can't wait to see more.

Thanks Tri3,
The Mecha-Man casts arrived this morning, unfortunately the 'Green' did not survive and was utterly destroyed.
They are beautiful casts but weigh a ton and cost a little bit more to cast so we will have to see if £2 is an introductory price. Sorry Guys.
They come in 3 parts: 2 Arms and the body.
I am ordering flying bases today. Then they will be ready.
And Navin, these nasty metal maniacs are the backbone of the Ursus Protectorate the Tyrant Canis has seized control of the galaxy using an unstoppable army of Mecha-Men.

I have received my Mecha Men and I am thrilled with them!
I have some question though...
1 - Do the Mecha Men shoot from their eyes, or from their hands?
2 - Do they produce a jet of vapor or smoke beneath them, or does the littile thing at the bottom rotate and glow?
3 - How are they organised? Do they come in fire teams or squads? If so, do they have designated Mecha Man Controllers (that are painted a bit differently)?
Thanks,
Navin

Hi Navin,
1) The Mecha-Men have neutron blasters in their claws, they also use their claws to tear enemies apart as they are razor sharp.
2) The little thing at the bottom spins at high speed and gives off a screaming sound similar to a Stuka dive bomber.
3) In a large scale campaign the Mecha-Men are arranged in Legions and cohorts etc. Similar to the Ancient Roman armies. Usually however, since these figures are intended mainly for skirmish gaming you would have 1 or more squads of 4 Mecha-Men for every 2 squads there is a Mecha-Man Centurion which has the bronze and gold colour scheme.
Mecha-Men forces are usually controlled (ie:ordered as they are independant sentinent robots:not remote controlled.) by a human officer of the Ursus Protectorate.
* I know a Centurion should be in charge of 100 men but I jst like the terminology*
