Title: 15mm interiors?
Post by: Smokeyrone on January 17, 2010, 09:30:51 PM
Anyone do them?

My numerous and growing  Sudan adobe buildings have removeable roofs, but so far, I have not added any interior detail  (VERY unlike Smokey, he is the interior man!).

They are just open space, playability is there, but I need detail

Some of my HO stuff looks right, but N scale interior stuff?  No way, too small.

Any examples of 15mm interiors?  I know I should be able to picture it if I do 28mm interirors, but I'm having difficulty (pronounced "Dih-Fiiii-Culty").  New stuff for me.  Any hep would be appreciated.

maybe you can draw up some paper models in the correct scale, trying to get the items you need into shape. If the design feels right to you, try it with "hardware"  ;)
I currently have no idea where 15mm stuff can be bought...

That makes sense, I have a ton of WorldWork's Games kits, that I could downsize (They are a mainstay for my interiors in 28mm)

What, maybe reduce at 60%?

I propose to downscale by 54% (calculates closer to 15mm than 60%)...
