I start painting up my Japanese for a big Tarawa (Betio) battle last August. Now I'm finally starting to paint up some Marines. My goal this year is to paint up a whole company (part of the reason I decided to go with 20mm). These mini's are from Brittania Miniatures.
Took me a couple of tries to get something close to the Green camo used at Tarawa.

Looking Salty!

They look good to me , although I think the entrenching tool covers and bandoliers would be drill or green.
I'm returning to 20mm as well so enjoy seeing this kind of thing.

I particularly like the camouflage, it's very well done, though like Dan, I would of thought the bandoliers etc would be khaki drill. :)

I like them,as far as the bandoliers they could be using wwI equiment whinch is a running joke in the CORPS where the first to war but are gear always a war behind in the first gulfwar my webbelt was from veitnam.

Thanks guys. I probably have gotten the bandoliers and entreching tool covers the wrong color. I was basing the equipment colors off a painting instead of actual pictures of equipment. Oops! Hopefully an easy fix.
The camo was based on a real uniform picture at least!

The camo is excellent... the pattern is immediately recognizable. Which isn't always an easy thing in 20mm. Sometimes you end up with a blotchy mess. (Or at least, I do. :?)

Semper Fi!!!!!
Outstanding work in 20mm.

Looking great, especially the camo! I can't wait to see those guys in action on the table. Now get back to painting! lol
