I just saw I was on 499 posts and never actually posted an introduction so I decided to use my 500th for the purpose.
Live: North East England
Interests: Just about every era with (curiously) a blank for anything Napoleonic except naval. Ancients through to post WW2. Especially keen for past couple of years on Colonial and VSF. Oh and SYW.
Scales: 25mm, then 15mm and 20mm for modern.
Minis: Dunno, maybe several thousand. I was counting my tanks recently and stopped when I reached 100 because I was getting concerned about OCD.
Like: Food and cooking.Traditional music from all over the world, especially celtic and african. Beer. Food. Art and music and did I mention food?
Biggest Fault: Never finishing anything before the next interest obsesses me. But I do go back - eventually. Sometimes 20 years later.
Biggest Asset: Sense of humour.
Married, no kids, 2 cats. Work for the NHS in mental handicap.
That's me done!

I always worry about OCD
-
what's OCD?
-
former user
Obsessive–compulsive disorder
Which often manifests by a desire to do the same thing over and over again to reduce a state of irrational anxiety.
The German term for this category of mental disorder is "Zwangsstörung".

Sounds more like a radio controlled antitank device. But so do most German words. ;)
