Title: Death From Above!
Post by: LidlessEye on January 29, 2010, 06:14:38 PM
Our February miniature release is now available: the Winged Nightmare!  This is a multipart kit, with a one-piece body and four separate wings.  It's a pretty good sized fig, standing almost 60mm high assembled.

Wow!  I'd say "beautiful" but that doesn't quite describe it properly.   lol

I'll definitely be picking one of these up soon.

It's nice to see an original beastie come along! Or an original take on a flying polyp... is that the inspiration? I'm figuring it may leave a five toed footprint when it takes off? I like those wings very alien looking. Good stuff..

Very impressive. It seems like a flying polyp to me too.

Ooooh, nice 8). Agree it looks like a flying Polyp and I like that. Although the idea of flying polyps is totally rediculous IMO (but very Lovecraftian), these monsters look fantastic and like a real challenge for Threshold!

I never really liked the established concept of a 'flying polyp' either...always seemed kinda...un-scary. Somehow with the little fairy wings and lumpy phalases it scares me now... o_o...
