Title: Mutants ?
Post by: Grimm on February 15, 2010, 09:15:45 PM
I see in the rule book that a mutant gang has a ``Major Mutant`` and a unit of ``Minor Mutants``.
The figures from Brigade Games cover the ``Major Mutants`´ so my question is will there be Brigade Games ``Minor Mutants`` figures in the future ?

Cheers Grimm

Not wishing to upset Op5 too much but Hasslefree's Salute releases are looking very suitable!

Check out their Hazmats, Mutant Adventures (and Mutant Grant), Lesser Mawe, Mesaans.

Indeed they do look good.... but I'm very bored of the post-apocalypse mohawk on anything and barefeet would've been better, I mean, where did they buy jump boots in that size?  :?

I tend to agree with your observations, M'sieu Hale.

I had a mohawk for a while. Very high maintenance haircut. Unless barbers are fearless around mutants. Possible, I suppose, given that barbers have very sharp razors and can defend themselves with banal conversation.

My last set of boots lasted less than three months, then fell apart in a very apocalyptic fashion. Now THAT'S something that would be good - a set of decrepit falling-apart boots with rotten laces as well.

Obviously the steroid manufacturers and gym owners are still doing well after the Big Fall. I suspect most of the survivors will actually look like thin strung-out speed freaks with pin-head pupils and plumbing tools.

I think these are overdone frankly.

I'm a sucker for any of Kev's work - so slightly biased - but I think 'overdone' is the intentional style as Kev's a stickler for proper musculature.

Agreed that the mohawk is a bit cliched, although it made me giggle that we're happily accepting of mutants as a concept, but less accepting of their hair and footwear  lol lol lol

Just because you're a mutant doesn't mean you have to let yourself go to seed. Even mutants have some self-respect.

No mohawks planned.  :)

Definitely will be some misshapen heads, asymetrical limbs, maybe one eye a bit lower than the other, and skin that looks like it's melting like candle wax.

I'm complicated... OK  >:(

 ;)

They and the rest of the range are excellent, on my want list certainly. I would have preferred shredded clothing myself though... having said that I've seen people in their size of jeans, so they must be available somewhere.  lol

I like how they did mohawks in Fallout 3 though, the cut was there, but the hair just flopped, very low maintenance.
