Title: Some cars, some trucks [20mm] (18 May update)

Finally some progress......

The Tanker Trailer and Truck

50 cent bin find, sadly the plate on the back of the truck had been ripped off, and this trailer isn't supposed to go with this truck, but it fits. The legs of the Tanker trailer still move so I can keep the 2 seperate or on the move so to speak.

Couldn't come up with a decent name so decided to go for a logo based on my old logo from my graffiti days. I hope it's obvious to what it's supposed to be

Flatbed Truck

Another abused 50cts bin find. Decent paintjob and a base. Got quite a few more of these MAN trucks with various cargo. 6 euro's for 2 of them in the shops I believe, might pick up a few more for fun. Would do equally well as scenery, or in a convoy in Iraq, or a zombie infested city, or a good game of Car Wars. Must make some loose deck cargo to fit on her soon btw.

The Rusty Car

A severly tossed around flea market find, they charged me 50cents and would not haggle about the price :P Had lots of fun painting this one....

The Benz

Shown this one before, but went over it again with clearcoat to give it a bit more shine. Now it looks better I think, perfect for a Warlord of Criminal to drive around.

The Black Car is in the Weird War section.

Johan

PS All the cars apart from the Benz still need 2 more coats of Gloss on the windows to even them out and make them shine a lot more so you get the effect of the black car, 2 heavy coats of GW Gloss on her did that and it looks great.

great addition to any modern / future battlefield (I'll try po post my car here too :) ); the only thing I could suggest about painting is addind some dried mud / dust on lower parts of the vehicles but that's of course only the matter of taste :)

@DM - some eventually will, some won't. I'm trying to paint at speed at the moment, so skipping bits here and there.

@PW - Yes, putting these next to a 28mm model looks a bit silly :D

* = This is a objective (or whatever the new owner wants to do with it) for wargaming the aftermath of WW3 (Twilight 2000 to be exact). This baby should be in Ireland with her new owner soon-ish. The rear of the truck is my way of saying goodbye to her.

Enjoy!

More great work. A black Mercedes is always a high profile target! I really like your graffiti on the truck, and the rusty car is well done as usual.
