There's something odd in the vote points. Rules say that you should receive floor(votes/10), vote points column shows round(votes/10), and the total appears to come from either one quite randomly...

For this, the number of votes received by the participant is divided by 10, the result being the number of "bonus points" the participant receives, ranging from 0 (9 votes or less) to a maximum of 15 (150 votes or more). "
you've got 56 votes, so 56/10=5,6 -> 6 points (rounded off)
chambersofminiatures got 215 votes, so 215/10=21,5 but due to "maximum of 15" limit, only 15 points

The whole point really, IMO. To be able to pound out the mini's in the LPL marathon makes every participant a winner.

You’re right Ray, the LPL has a great "motivation factor". I’m in the LPL mainly because it’s fun! I REALLY like painting figures. Also, It’s a great opportunity to show our work… and maybe make some money as well since I sell almost all the figures I paint during the competition lol

I'm impressed with my early showing against 2 time defending champion the almighty Grimm! :D I figured that I would be much further down the board. At least with me having that out of the way in Week 1, I know I won't have to face him again...whew ::)

1) If it's "round to nearest", the examples in the rules are wrong. Only 4 or less would round to zero, while 145 would already give 15.
2) Which points add up to my total of 25, or those 11s at the bottom, for example? We should have 10 "loser" points, possibly 10 theme bonus, and then vote points, right? Currently many have 19 + vote points, which shouldn't be possible.

damn, I see...looks like I have an accounting error in the spreadsheet (column Total ) Deathwing and Calimero should get 12 points and your total should be 26. Sorry, it's a new spreadsheet, I've missed that. Will fix it till next week and post a corrected leaderboard. Thank you for pointing out that.

There is a problem in the loser bracket, it isn't culminating the voting points week to week. The winners are sporting 45 points for cumulative totals over three weeks while the losers are only getting that weeks vote points added to their total score.

If I understand the scoring, I think that for this last round (#4) I should have received 44 points for the win and the votes (148), instead of 10. :) Then again, running with Hammers insight, it could just mean that the important people hate me--those with power over the leader board. ;)

Folks, before you point out problems in scoring, please check that you've got the columns right. I think they go like this:
Pos, Member, Win, Draw, Lost: Obvious, right?
Votes+, Votes-: Sum of your votes for/against from all rounds. Basically just for the curious. Not very useful.
Diff.: Difference between the two. Not very useful either. Your vote points are calculated separately for each round. Due to rounding and 15p max per round, your total vote points are not necessarily Diff/10.
Vote Points: Total vote points received this far. As mentioned, these totals come from per-round vote points, which cannot be found in these updated tables. You have to check the match topics to find out individual round vote points.
Bonus: Total bonus points you've received from theme and new entries this far. Currently the maximum is 45, if you painted mounted barbarians on round 1 (15p theme, no 'new entry' bonus for this round), and a new team on rounds 2, 3 and 4 (10p each).
Total: Win*30 + Draw*20 + Lost*10 + Vote Points + Bonus.
Temudjin: You had 114 total points after round 3, and 159 after round 4. That's 45 points - 30 for win and 15 (148/10 rounded to nearest) for votes. 10 is your total bonus points this far, because you've submitted one new team (squigs) after round 1.

I have to disagree with declaring the points differential not useful however, as this is apparently what is used to determine board position between those with identical points totals. I've been able to handicap roughly what my upcoming board positions will be from round to round by looking at the voting differentials between those above and below me on the board and comparing them with my own differentials each round.

Could it be that I`m missing 20 points? My `bonus` went from 40 to 50 (new entry) but not the 20 for it being zombies and opponents?

I think the bonus points for zombies aren't included yet as the total with most is about 50/55.
If I'm not mistaken then max bonuspoints (with Barbarian cavalry) is 75 now.

I fear I am in the same position as Tomsche.
I ended Round 4 with 129 points.
In Round 5 I believe I should have scored
10 = new entry
10 = zombies
10 = survivors
10 = loser
6 = 59 votes
46 = total
making a Round 5 score of 175 versus the 155 shown (ie, 20 short)
