Gorgeous, Prof.
Quite probably the best entry of the comp so far....... :o 8)
Well, at least I've somehow managed to get one vote ...... oh, that was was mine..... :D
-
Great skintones in the second entry. Very nice!
-
Lovely paint job Prof.
Can you tell me where the diggers and the guy in shorts are from ???
-
Gorgeous, Prof.
and this is the first entry I've looked at so far! Wow.
-

Brigade Games.

I'm sorry Silent Invader. Despite my huge affection for goats and the 18th Century, I was compelled to go for the quite remarkable 1930's film cast of Prof Witchheimer.
Keep up the ruminant painting. It never hurt Gainsborough.
-
Is it 'done' to vote for oneself?
-
The excavation is great! And is that a familiar figure lurking through the archway?

Thanks for your encouragement and, indeed, to those who have voted for my herd! :D
Is it 'done' to vote for oneself?
Well, I have 'done'! :) But why not? Do you object? ???
EDIT = inclusion of smiley!
-
S.I., Maybe if you had titled your entry scratchbuild goats you would had more "sympathy votes"? ;)
Nice work from both of you anyway 8)
-
Is it 'done' to vote for oneself?
Oh yes, it's done. :D
(Almost all the time I suspect - although occasionally some noble soul votes for an opponent).

I did it! …once ;)
I’m far too afraid to have a zero total vote to do it twice… lol

Thanks! :D Though the goats were a lot easier to sculpt than the child - he's only 22mm to top of head and really tested my limited abilities but is still far from perfect (though it's all learning, right?!). :)

Yes, looks like there's that infamous pseudoscientist 8)
Is it 'done' to vote for oneself?
yes, of course, no problem.

wow, didn't know you're the sculptor! good work, really, though some of them look a bit sad :)
-
A really spectacular entry, Prof!
Absolutely superb!

Oh dammit, missed two votes on my previous entries as I'm always the noble soul to vote for my opponent! ;D
;)
Anyway, very nice sculpt Silent Invader! I could have used those for my round 3 entry lol
and excellent paintjob Prof (who would have guessed!)
...maybe you should work toghether!
-
The archaeological expedition is superb - incredibly rich colours and beautifully smooth highlighting. Fantastic work.
-
:-*

The goats win! 8)
Hey Alex, where's your Lead Adventure miniature in this setting?
Nice entries and congrats to you both,
Helen
-
Fantastic miniatures and background paraphernalia Alex. Can I come over to your house and play? lol
-
Hey Alex, where's your Lead Adventure miniature in this setting?
it's there, Helen, seek and you shall find :)

sure, any time :)

Very sneaky Alex. Talking about night blindness!
-
Hell, Silent Invader, if I'd known you sculpted them that would have affected my vote substantially.
Well done, that man!!
The only time I've ever carved goat was in a provincial Italian restaurant. The results were bloody.
-
Thanks folks for the votes and the feedback - when I saw that I was up against the Prof and then looked at his entry I didn't think I'd make double figures and so am feeling rather chuffed. :D
some of them look a bit sad :)
Especially the ladies, they're feeling doeful ...er.... doleful.
-
well done prof. reminds me of the thirties mummy movies. love the chap in the blue he fairly glows.
-
the goats are very nice but the excavation is stunning
-
As I was checking out the latest score at 253 behind (is this a record?!) my wife looked over my shoulder at the screen and commented.... "Don't worry it'll soon be over"..... :'( :'( :D
-
Hi Silent,
nil desperandum, Old Boy. I voted for your goats - before - I found out they were scratch built. Wish I could vote twice, now :-)
'Course, the fact they are 18th century did help a lot.
