That is diabolical and the buyer wants their bumps feeling.
I have sold un-released Dwarves for less than that. And if anybody else wants one of these I will gladly sell mine for £200 ;)
That lump-a-lead causing so much excitement?! My God, you fellas are easy to please...
I mean come on it's just insane, it's just a dwarf with a two-handed sword!
Yes? :)

Nothing really, it just makes me wish I'd made better choices when I was 10 years old...

Kislevite Bear Tamer
The OOP Averlander and Kislevite models for Mordheim are the rarest Mordheim models and especially the Kislevite Bear Tamer always generate ridiculous prices.
<snip>Egg-zactly, bc99!
Okay back on topic, I guess if it's worth it to you, it's okay. I don't see the worth of it in that model, but somebody does. Very interesting, a collector for sure.
Are the averlanders the one with the huge hats, halberds/greatswords/pistols and the oversized puffy sleeves? I have them in the "to list for sale" pile, was going to offer them on here at some point, but seems like I should put them on ebay and retire.
...as disinterested party I admit I agree with my wife on this one: "Makes your hobby buying look absolutely rational."

Here's the fig, although the left hand is optional (this isn't any of mine)

Oh. Here's me thinking there would be a bear in it somewhere.
Shortly after I sold mine a Norwegian chap sold all six variants separately. Unlike mine his were in mint condition and one went for around £28, the others finishing up around the £20 mark. That's some investment!
yes, those are the ones and I'm pretty sure I have all 6 variants in mint condition. 8)
Anyone want to buy them for £100? ;)
Only 100£ ??? are you really sure they are in good condition? You should, at least, ask for 200£ ;)
It's more than likely the buyer was a British MP, living in their own fantasy world & offsetting the cost of the figure against expenses. Easily done.
I have an unreleased squat in exo armor, anybody need one of those?
What does a mint box set of Pratorians go for on ebay now? The large box set with the special casualty miniature? ...
Oh and I'm probably just going to rebase and paint them as VSF British with experimental Electric Rifles.
Hehe; I bet that's set the old-school GW Taliban's teeth a-gnashing! Improper use! Sacrilege! Infidel!
Mind you, despite their scarcity they don't fetch that much (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Warhammer-40k-Imperial-Guard-Praetorian-Squad-x-7_W0QQitemZ170465688012QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Toys_Wargames_RL?hash=item27b08bf9cc). Give it another year or two and you'll be looking at triple figures...
Heh, I got my Praetorians when I was living in London. The chap at the Bond Street store -insisted- that the set was a British exclusive that would not be marketed in the United States....;)WTF? The thieving b$*%@#d!
I did have and enjoy that set. Unfortunately, they were left at a house during a game, at which point the owner simply "stole them", and insisted that I had "given them" to him.
