Ahhhhhh! Bums and boobies  :D

I agree, the skin is beautifully painted, both the colours and blending are spot on and the muddy handprints made me laugh  lol

Lovely figures!

Vallejo acrylics. Beasty brown and skull white blended for flesh...

Michi,

Once again you post mind blowingly awesome minis.
Thanks for the close ups.
And whomever's hand print that is, is one lucky man.

Just those two colors? Over a white undercoat? Are you layering, or wet-blending on the models themselves...?

I usually use grey primer and paint a basic coat of beasty brown, the rest is indeed layering and wet blending where necessary.

What company manufacturers those figures? I do not think that I have seen them before. Awesome figures, and your painting skills really make them "pop"  lol

Thanks for sharing.

Apart from the two blondes with sticks (the only completely naked) which are from Foundry, all other figures are from Shadowforge.

That's just what I thought until I considered Mrs M's reaction to seeing all those little Baywatch Babes on my painting desk. The Darkest Africa female warriors were bad enough, but at least I convinced her they had historical precedent  :'(

Even she doesn't believe "One Million Years BC" is a historical film lol

Ahhh, another treasured childhood belief shattered-say it isn't so! :'(

Come to think of it hot blond babes in fur bikini's fighting dinosaurs might have been a young teenagers dream actually.

I change my mind, 'cause i've seen their faces on the shop... they're ugly!
so, double congrats to michi, that made those faces look good!!!!

if you want some nice sculpt BB, you can look at bronze age, the harem girls are pretty nice! and they're usable in a lot of dioramas! :)

They may be too poor and primitive to afford much in the way of clothing but I am pleased to see they still use a decent shampoo on their flowing tresses.

Even in those days a girl liked to look her best.
Don't forget the razor for unwanted underarm and leg hair and a nice wax job when needed. Beauty first-blood thirsty killing second as they say.

That would not be logical. It is one clan, one tribe, one breed - genetically impossible to mix in such blood when travelling by airplane to cross oceans was not invented.

And you have to admit Halle Berry made a fine cavewoman.

I prefer Daryl Hannah...

Well, Halle Berry makes a fine woman in every role she plays. And I am not against African stoneage people, but I wouldnīt mix them in a Caucasian tribe.

That would not be logical. It is one clan, one tribe, one breed - genetically impossible to mix in such blood when travelling by airplane to cross oceans was not invented.

but crossing straits of gibraltar (africa to europe or vice versa,) doesnot need any airline !!! and crossing of straits, walking from africa to europe and asia, was invented.
Remember there is is a whole theory that humans evolved in africa and then widespread in the rest of the world. Also native american indians, are supposed are supposed to come from Asia and colonized the americas crossing the bering straits when frozen.

Ah, former user nice photo.

lol, i guess it is a bit more than a theory, unless you think like a creationist, but it's not my tipe! :P

But for going from Africa to America they took... well, quite some thousand of years! they wew not planning to reach a distant land, thery were just moving around, looking for new territories, and migrating they reached the American continent! :P

so, scientifically speaking, a multiracial dozen should be inappropriate.

But, man, multicolor babes are the best! XD

Yes they would, the paw print alone would be...interesting to apply. But these models appear to have a little to much clothing compaired to the other fine figures we have seen on this thread. I mean we do want a little uniformity in our clan-can't hove some leather fashionistas making the other girls feel bad now can we. ;)

I'll definitely sign that  :D

btw, recalling the thin about mixing skin colours

In the ERB setting of Pellucidar this shouldn't be a problem.
Allthough expertly painted, Michi's ladies do not look authentically stoneage, more pulp fantasy, so actually no need to think about authenticity  ;), expecially when it comes to Halle Berry in leather bikini  :D

No, itīs from 1986 and not one of those peepy leather bikini movies. I think it was meant to be rather seriously (pre-)historical.

I think that's where my love of Terror Birds came from. Not to mention my love of fur-bikini-clad buxom young wenches  ;)

Speaking of Terror Birds, I recently found the two I bought from HLBS years ago. They'll probably never get painted, but it's nice to have them  :D
