Daleks!!! :D Nice one!

"Never in the field of conflict have so many been exterminated by so few."
-
Have you seen next weeks Dr Who already :o
That was the trailer after Saturday nights episode ???
-
I saw the British Daleks in the trailer after the first episode of the new series, had four Daleks and the PM already undercoated and sat on the painting table, and so a LPL entry was born. :)
We were chatting in our group a while back about there being a lack of really weird options for the allies in our WWWII games, and while I can guess it's not going to work out well, British Army Daleks seemed perfect for taking on the Panzermecha.
-
wow- those darleks are cool- just watched the trailor on Iplayer- that's some quick work! spot on.
-
Are these 15mm Daleks?
If not, where can I get some :)
-
Those Daleks are from the 30ish mm Micro Universe range of ready painted plastics, re-painted for the LPL.
They were sold in blind random packs for a while, like the Star Wars Minis, but seem to be out of production now. Black Tree do some fairly nice metal Daleks, but are notoriously slow on delivering anything.
-
OOOOH, right.
I remember asking about these a couple rounds ago.
I don't think many of those packs ever made it over to the US.
Frankly it's rather frustrating how many miniature companies are in the UK and are not available via standard US distribution/retail channels
(and I do ordering for a local brick and mortar comic/game shop...)

Gav - you beat me too it! Great work! Where is Churchill from? I needs me one of those!

Black Scorpion. For some strange reason, I ordered one a week ago.

But The Woodbine Design Co has a new Churchill due out at Salute, too:

just watched the Docror Who episode with the WWII Darleks- you entry was spot on- well done!
-
Yep, that Winston is the Black Scorpion one.
The woman is from Artizan, in the episode they were RAF rather than Army, but I don't think I did two badly a week or so before the episode aired. :)
-
That's awesome!
I'll have to watch that episode. :)
