There different between DBA version 1.1 and 2.2 (2.2 is the most recent)
Its because im looking at this as my purchase at the moment but I cant get version 1.1 for a third of the price of the most recent edition therefore saving me a bit of dosh.
So if anybody could explain, your help is appreciated.

Very different games, Steve. Not really compatible with each other. I believe that the army lists are even slightly different. Get the latest edition, and save yourself some grief when it comes time to play.

Steve,
If you think DBA might be your thing you should give Basic Impetus a look.

The armies work out to be roughly the same size and you can use the same figures and basing. Best of all it is free! I'm not knocking DBA, by the way. I've had many enjoyable games of it.

Aaron,
thanks for posting the Impetus link. I've got the old edition of DBA and have quite enjoyed it for a quick impromptu game or two. Basic Impetus looks good so I think I'll "upgrade" to that instead of the latest DBA :D

My pleasure. I haven't actually tried BI myself, but I've heard nothing but good reports.
