Crooked Dice will be at Salute on Stand GA10 and will be running two participation games:
A RIG TOO FAR
Something happened aboard the Euro Sea Gas deep drill oil rig – every worker is missing and the rig has been towed to the nearby Devil’s bay for inspection by UNIT. In the quiet highland dawn however, something is stirring below the dark waters. Play as either the Sea Devils or UNIT to take or defend our awesome oil rig model in this great Doctor Who participation game!
Game times: 10:30 and 13:30
Length: 2.5 hours
Players: 6
Series: Classic Series
Rules: Full DWMG rules
LOCK STOCK & TWO SMOKING DALEKS
What’s going down on the streets outside Canary Wharf? Join the Doctor, Rose, Mickey, the Preachers, Yvonne and her Torchwood soldiers in the continuing battle against the Cybermen and the Dalek Cult of Skaro. Multi player participation action set in the world of the new Series of Doctor Who!
Game times: 10:30, 13:00 and 15:00
Length: 1 to 2 hours
Players: 6
Series: New Series

Hope to see you there.

I reckon we'll be able to shove a spigot into anyone on the Frothers table and get something near 20% proof :)
Me - I'm essentially made of Tea. If you cut me, do I not brew?
-
I'll stop by and offer a bemused grin and possible green tinge from the night out in Camden Im atending tomorrow night.
-
Wow, sounds great. Wish there was something like this here in the states...

DWMG won 'Best Participation' at Salute 2010!
Well Done!
And well deserved!
:-* :-* :-*
-
Great looking games and ty for the pictures... well done..
-
On behalf of myself I heartily thank you for these great pictures.
Rob
-
A well desevered award. :)
In my opinion the best looking participation games on the day judging by the constant buzz and hordes of people gathered around the games.
The oil rig was spectacular and its always great to see Overlords Geezers scenery once again. ;D
The David Tennant lookilikeee was a nice touch too. I did a double take when I first saw him lol
-
Yup, definately well deserved.
Yeah, I had to do a double take too.
Well done guys, looked like you were having a good day, especially Ross, for whom it is impossible to be negative. :D
-
Only a pity I couldn`t say `hi` to the LaF`ers on the meeting, being like to busy
watching the women participating in the marathon gathering lunch for some of our club members to busy with our own game
-
I just don't like saying Hi when people are deep in conversation. I recognised Captain Bloods, but Overlord show me who was who.
Next time, feel free to walk up and say hi! :)
-
My pics from salute:
Crooked dice tables were lovely, the oil rig was a bit special and unit HQ very nice indeed. The other table was a rehash of the Geezer's table from last year, but nice all the same.

I did like those games very very good and a well deserved best participation game award.
nice
dodge
-
Uti, do you own an extra house to store all your terrain and scenery in? lol
:-* Beautiful table!!! :-*
-
Lovely pics V!!
Many thanks for all the kind comments. And apologies for not saying hello to all of you - feel free to collar me next time. Got to meet (Mighty) Malamute :), but he was only next door!
I know Overlord was keeping everyone entertained, but I literally didn't leave the tables all day (my cheapest Salute ever BTW).
Warren - I have a crammed loft. Currently trying convince my very understanding wife, that I need to knock down the garage and build a special games room, storage area... not gaining much ground to be honest!
