And as a little teaser, the first soldiers for the regiment:

They are very nice, superb even but I am unsure about the basing. The figures are great, the basing is great and they go together great but somehow it does not work as a gaming element for me. Having said that I saw these a little earlier on SD and the effect is growing on me. Perhaps with the other elements, the overall effect will prove you a genius.

Perhaps it is that they look so realistic, which contrasts with the painted on look of the figures.

Smashing paintjob though!
(and the basing is lovely really)
-
I absolutely love them :-*
Well done Stephan.
I think I shall have to get myself some of this miniature flora! With these kind of figures, it sets them off a treat.

I've used the Siflor flowers as well, and had some trouble with them. Can you describe how you used yours?

wow your a master with the brush stephen :-*
i really like all the colours and the way you've based them very eye catching!!

Amazing paintjob. I love the basing and think it fits well with the landsknechts! Unsure how it will loook on the battlefield though. North european fauna fore sure!
Thanks for sharing!!!

They look great, the bases add to the Renaissance feel of the unit.

Hi all,
thank you all for the kind comments :) Yes, of course the base takes getting used to, but I think it gives you a Renaissance look. Thank you ones again,

A lovely, colourful army for the renaissance period :-*
Very nice work, Stephan 8)

Very nice :-*
The flowers make perfect camouflage for the Landsknecht!

These are just wonderful. I can see why not everyone might like the base style, but they hit the spot for me. Actually, the last pics of your artillery base sent me off to Antenociti to place an order for Siflor flowers, and I never usually decorate my bases at all!

Hi mate,
I haven't done pictures, but I made a short video, I hope it's ok for you.

Cool... Now this video only leads to more questions… ;)
1) Did you remove the integral bases of the figures you’ve painted?
2) If so, are the figures then pinned and glued to the finished bases?
-
"hope this helps"
Yes thank you - a lot easier to see what the product is actually like. I would have drilled a hole myself though to get a better purchase.
Now show us how you did the rest of the base. No seriously, what products did you use?
-
That was helpful. Thank you for making and posting it.
I did mine by cutting the flowers very close to the flower heads. I then glued the flower heads into tufts of grass, so the grass looks like part of the flower. As I said, however, I wasn't completely satisfied with the result.

1)yes, they are removed
2)Only glued - I never pin as they only stay in the show case.
