Title: Suitable Japanese figures for Manchurian invasion?
Post by: RAD on June 20, 2010, 10:49:15 AM
Anyone knows any suitable figures for japanese  invasion in Manchuria? Were their uniforms similar to those in use in RCW BoB (Say, the troops sent to support the Mad Baron?)

Thanks a lot

The Pulp Figures Japanese line could possibly be used;

From the book I read it seems the the Japanese were just as scrappy as the rest of the outfit. Quite mixed uniform. The book seems to say that they were hardly a regular unit at all but just as likely deserters, bandits or in some other way independent.

There are some good photos here:

Lots of infantry in helmets so you could use any 28mm WW2 figures (Brigade Games?)

Not sure where you'd get the infantry in winter kit though?
