Combat attack seems very powerful if it works the way it seems to read. So just to check, take a werewolf, agility 3, combat attack x 3. It rolls 3 ones, 'adds it's rating in combat attack to it's attack goal rolls' so ends up with 3 fours. Correct? Or does it roll 3 extra dice when attacking in close combat?
Crack shot seems worded more clearly, you roll extra dice when attacking in ranged combat equal to the value of your crack shot trait. So a character with agility 3 and crack shot 2 would roll 5 dice when attacking in ranged combat. Correct?

If I remember the goal-system correctly, the bonus is added dice = the chance to roll more successes.

Goalsytem always adds dice. Each point of Combat Attack adds one D to your dice pool.
