I love rebel minis 15mm zombies, but are there other manufacturers of 15mm zombies (I want to add new zombie types). Also I am thinking of findinng meni for conversion of Left 4 Dead infection ones :)

Essex makes a set (in their 15mm fantasy range)  very nice

QRF makes zombies in their modern/ sci fi range, and also humans with improvised weapons, which can be converted to zombies or keep as survivors (the kinda stiff, awkward poses is a bonus, really  :) )

15mmUK makes a horde, cheap, that looks very nice, I've seen the pics, but people have reported they don't like them?

Pole Vitny (the new Polish 15mm sculptor/dealer) makes some really nice zombies, cheap, too

A hidden treat:  Look at "wounded" figures (for my Colonial horror/zombie army, I used OG wounded Brits, Egyptians, Ansar, etc.  They all have a "shambling/stumbling" pose style, and work great.  I imagine modern wounded would look just as good, and modern wounded irregulars would be perfect modern zombies.  Check Peter Pig too)

There are more.  I will look at my @120 that I have painted up, from all manufacturers, and report back on any I missed.

BTW,  Found a Matchbox Fire engine, and Dump Truck, that is again perfect 15mm size, at Wal Mart last night.

Fjodin, I embarrassed myself today, and I blame you!

I picked up me mum, to take her to Home Depot to get some 12 foot 4x4's (too heavy for her to lift, obviously) for my Dad's home project.

She needed to stop at Walgreens (drug store/variety store in the US)

I was waiting in my car, then went in.  Thinking of your search for 15mm cars, I checked the toy aisle, and found a HotWheels "Ice Cream Truck" in 15mm.   As I left my wallet in my vehicle, I ran with it, and tossed it on the counter as mom was paying for her shampoo and sundries.  (it was only 79 cents, I said I would play her when we got to my car)

It looked like my mom was buying a toy for her little boy!   :o  Everyone looked at me like I was some nerd!   :(

I said, loudly:  "It's for miniature gaming!"  (I don't think that5 helped my cause)

Tanks for nuttin'!    :D

Any good cheap stores to root around while I'm over there this summer?

The Scene has got some excellent 15mm Agents/MIB and Zombie Hunters out with lots more to come.
Future releases include zombies and zombified versions of the Hunters.

The kid seems very nice (I have posted with him on TMP, his shipping is reasonable, and he seems in tune with what gamers want)

I assume it was a pleasurable business experience dealing with him?

I have had no problems ordering from Piotr at Pole Bitwy, figures arrived quickly. He appears to be having issues with the website at present. I know he has plans to add other supernatural stuff to the ranges and is open to suggestion as to what gamers want.

Anyone told him about LAF? He is a good poster.

Thanks Matt for the heads up :)

We are in the process of migrating our virtual server with all of our websites, to another machine due to security concerns. It appears our hosting company had a break in onto some of their servers and we decided to play it safe and move. After all we do not have much control over a remote server. We hope to be back up before this weekend. Very sorry for this inconvenience friends.

By the way, the company name is Pole Bitwy meaning Field of Battle [or battlefield ?] in Polish ;)

Thanks,

Piotr

Oh, you do know about LAF. Good.

 :)

(I always figured "Pole" in "Pole Bitwy"  was short for  "Polish" Bitwy )

 ;)

What do you have on the "up and coming" anyway?  Any new figure plans?

Smokey,

I found out about LAF some time ago, while searching for Victorian SF ;)

Pole stands for field while bitwy is battle. Unfortunately Polish is a lot more complicated than English or Japanese :/

Polish battles would be Polskie bitwy :)

Working on modern Poles and some Somali swashbucklers. Also getting lots of separate heads for Weird World War II and SF in 15mm. A few more packets of cultists with hoods over heads and machetes or AK47 / RPG7 weapons. Lots of new ranges being filled like werewolves, aquamen, PA mutants and of course bugs. Giant space bugs. The Starship Troopers type ;) Zombies too with a packet of special undead and some crawling / slithering on the ground.

Cheers,

Piotr
