Title: Dr Paddy Griffith has died
Post by: joroas on June 26, 2010, 08:43:26 PM
....yesterday, I just read on TMP. Those of us of a certain age will remember his Sandhurst Wargames book and his seminal works on the ACW, etc.  A sad loss to the wargaming community.

A very good man. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Sad loss, I greatly enjoyed his Battle Tactics of the Western Front.

Great writer and academic.  A sad loss at a relatively young age.

I met him many years ago, and we play on a table some short battle with plastic toys.
I know of his death from my friend Peter Dennis .
RIP
